Alexander Minin participated in the International Mining Convention and attended events related to the activity of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce

On March 6-9 an annual International Mining Convention “Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada” (PDAC) was held in Toronto. It was the first time when Ukrainian companies were represented at the National stand organized by SC “Derzhzovnishinform” with the support of WTS Consulting/ KM Partners.


Alexander Minin, Senior partner, Attorney at law of WTS Consulting/ KM Partners took part in the Convention in the capacity of the Ukrainian delegation member.

In particular, Round Table “Ukraine-Canada: prospects of mining industry and related services” was conducted within the framework of the National stand.

Moreover, events related to the activity of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce were arranged during the Convention.

Alexander Minin participated in the discussion of one of the most urgent issues – Agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Canada which is to be signed in the nearest time, as well as in a number of business matters related to regulatory and tax aspects.

In general, the program also included networking and B2B events aimed at knowledge and technologies exchange as well as  investment attraction.

PDAC became the largest platform for meeting of professionals, companies and organizations involved in research and extraction of minerals as well as consulting services. This year’s forum gathered 1,000 exhibitors and 23,500 attendees from over 100 countries.
