Alexander Minin and Alexander Shemiatkin were elected to the Public Council under the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy

Today the first constituent meeting of the Public Council under the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Public Council”) was held, during which the personal composition of the Public Council was approved.

Alexander Minin, Senior Partner of KM Partners, and Alexander Shemiatkin, Partner, were elected to the Public Council.

The Public Council is an advisory body of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”), established for the purpose of tax and customs reform implementation with joint efforts of public authorities and society.

The main goal of KM Partners, being the member of the Public Council, is provision of transparence of the legislative process on tax and customs issues as well as provision of information and methodological assistance on tax and customs policy to the Committee. That will be provided, firs of all, due to professional analysis of draft laws and offers, forecasting of the possible advantages and disadvantages of their adoption, ensuring of the public access to these professional analyzes and forecasts.
