Yesterday it became known that the new Prime Minister of the Russian Federation became the Head of the Federal Tax Service Mykhail Mishustin. President Vladimir Putin nominated the country’s top taxman for the post of the Prime Minister after a personal meeting on January 15 in the evening.
Among the major achievements of the FTS of the Mishustin era, the Russian media called the reform of cash registers, digitization of the tax sphere and “bleaching the economy”. Therefore, with the newly appointed government, one can expect a new level of digitization of Russia.
Let us recall, that Mykhail Mishustin has remained unchanged Head of Tax Service for the past 10 years. He was also appointed to this post again by Vladimir Putin, who at that time was the Head of the Government.
