On September 6, 2016 in the Hotel Rus was held an international conference “Administrative justice in Ukraine: achievements and prospects”, organized by the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, together with a number of non-governmental organizations, with the participation of Edith Zeller, the Secretary-General of the European Association of Administrative Judges and Wojciech Postulski , the Secretary-General of the European Network of Juridical Trainings. The judges of administrative courts in Germany and Austria, the judges of administrative courts of Ukraine, scientists and practitioner experts participated in this event.
Alexander Shemiatkin, the partner of “KM Partners” law firm has also attended the conference and delivered the report “Steps of the upgraded Supreme Court to ensure the effective justice administration”. In his report, Alexander focused on the development of administrative justice after the reform, in particular on the change of the procedural law and judicial practice in the aspect of the possible increase of the cases hearing terms, on special attentions of the courts to the preliminary proceedings and on the obligation of the court to form the ultimate fact in each case.
